About us
Every house carries a signature.
Good architecture only comes about with a team that works well together and with clients who stay curious. People who build with us expect a lot, and usually a lifelong dream is at stake. The whole office works on it.
Our work begins with listening. What clients feel, need and already picture in their heads is what we turn into architecture. For that we have to know a great deal about them and about the place they live in. Anyone who has not understood who they are building for cannot expect trust.
We bring our clients into the project, sort their ideas and write them down so they can be looked up later. That gives certainty. My team and I make sure the conversation never breaks off, so that the wishes and what the site allows come together.
The design details someone asks for stay in every variant we show. Sketches, models and 3D images help with that: our clients should recognise themselves in a proposal before anything is built.

About Meier Architekten — architecture from one hand
We are an architecture practice in Zurich. We plan single-family and apartment buildings, convert existing structures and design interiors. Historic buildings are part of our work too, where every intervention has to get along with what is already there.
Architecture, real estate and craftsmanship sit under one roof here. That is not a wider offering but a question of responsibility: whoever draws the plan knows the building site, and whoever knows the site plans differently. Our clients therefore keep one contact — from the first conversation to the handover.
The office works as a team. Design, execution and cost control do not rest with one person; they are shared and read by someone else. What we promise, we put in writing; what changes, we write down.
